During the 11:00 service, a snack will be provided for those who did not bring a snack, and the kids will have a Bible story time.
We currently have two classes for 2/3-year-olds and 4/5-year-olds who have not yet started kindergarten. Our preschool kids follow the Answers in Genesis Sunday School curriculum.
Wednesday Nights
6:30- 8:00 pm
During the Fall and Spring terms, we have regular weekly activities for kindergarten and younger. The kids will make crafts, sing songs, play games, eat snack and be given a Bible lesson.
Snacks
We offer the children a snack of Goldfish, Cheerios, or Chex, but any snacks sent with your kids to eat are also welcome. We do ask that you do not include anything with peanuts or peanut butter for other children who may have allergies.

Sunday Morning
Sunday School – 9:45am
Every Sunday morning at 9:45 we have Sunday School classes for all ages. We have wonderful
teachers and teaching assistants who are dedicated to the spiritual growth of every child. North Cleveland Baptist uses the Answers in Genesis Sunday School curriculum for our children’s Sunday School classes. It is an in-depth study of the whole Bible which the kids will follow seamlessly as they age up. The curriculum has been written by well-studied theologians and adapted for the varying age ranges of children with the teaching of Scripture at its center.

Sunday Night
Discipleship Class 6:00 – 7:00pm
Begins on August 11th
We offer 6 week discipleship classes in the gym from 6:00-7:00 for kindergarten-5th grade. In these classes, our Children’s Minister leads the kids in a time of games, worship, and Bible study.
Jesus: Who? What? When? Where? Why? And How?
Throughout this six-week course, kids will take an in-depth look at the life of Jesus. Who was Jesus? What did He do? Where did all this take place? When did/will everything happen? How did He provide a way for salvation from sin? And Why would He do this for us? By answering these simple questions, kids will gain an important understanding of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the role He plays in our lives.
Wednesday Night
Children’s Choir 6:00 – 6:45pm
As the kids practice singing worship songs, they are taught the meaning behind the lyrics for better understanding. Occasionally, our Children’s Choir will help in Sunday morning worship by singing alongside our adult choir.
Awana 6:45 – 8:00pm
During the Fall, Winter and Spring terms, we have Awana for kids from 1 st -5 th grades led by our Children’s Minister. During this time, the kids will be given a Bible lesson to start the evening. After Bible time, the kids will work through their Awana workbooks. They will progress through the books by memorizing Scripture, learning the books of the Bible, and answering important, faith-based questions to help kids begin to understand and internalize Biblical truth.
For the current spring term, the kids are continuing their study of the book of Acts during their Bible time. As we progress, the kids are learning about the early church and mapping the movements of the disciples to provide a visual aid for how far the Gospel spread in such a short time.
