Adult Ministry

So that you, your children and their children after them may “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

You are invited to be a part of the Adult Ministries of NCBC!  We have something for everyone. Below, you can read about the different types of groups. In our journey as disciples of Jesus, God involves other people to strengthen and to encourage us. NCBC adult ministries allows us to come together to study, pray, and build relationships so we can grow to be more like Jesus. Our goal is to invite all adults, through healthy relationships, work, and studies, to embrace the mission of Christ to promote the building of the kingdom of God in the world today, impacting our community for Christ.

Men on Mission

Our church’s men’s ministry participates in rich brotherhood along with providing practical ministries. These servant-hearted men help build our Vacation Bible School set, maintain our garage, and construct wheelchair ramps for people with special needs. In addition, our Men on Mission prepare and serve an amazing amount of food for our annual Trunk or Treat event. Finally, a group of these men gather weekly for a fellowship breakfast at a local restaurant.

Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry of NCBC provides a community for the women of our church to grow our faith, friendships and outreach. Our key scriptures are Hebrews 10:24-25, Titus 2:3-5, and Proverbs 31:10-31 We accomplish this purpose by providing social activities, Bible studies, prayer partners and other activities as God leads. For more information on weekday Bible studies; monthly book club; and other social events, please contact anyone on the Leadership Team: (Katherine Pusch; Georgia Roberts; Jackie Arnold; Sue Rafferty; Lindsey Hawn; Ann Tayloe; and Jane Weaver) I hope you will join with other women of NCBC!

Women on Mission

The North Cleveland Baptist Women on Mission exists to use what we learn about missionaries to inform and inspire our service to others in our local community. Through prayer, fellowship, and servant-hearted offerings of time and finances, we support local organizations such as The Caring Place, Family Promise, Women at the Well, Ocoee Outreach, Kairos Prison Ministry, Foundation House Ministries, New Hope Pregnancy Center, and Isaiah 117 House. We pursue one project per month serving one of the above ministries. This month, we are serving breakfast to the Ladies of the Kairos Ministry, led by our very own, Janelle Martin! If you are interested in serving with us, we would love to have you! Please contact the Church office for information about how to get connected.
